ARTS FACILITATION
Supplementary education
This particular service allows for artist/teacher collaboration in which the artist will complement and enhance a lesson plan that the teacher has already prepared. And provide creative exercises and activities that will make learning more engaging and fun.
Residency
This is a program where an artist comes into the school to provide creative or artistic lessons for the students. The artist is available to the teachers and students throughout the day providing information and creative direction in their specialty area. Residency lengths are negotiable but usally last 2-3 days, 1 week, or 1 month.
Artistic Workshops:
Artist facilitate workshops to teacher and show how teachers in any subject area can use that particular art for be it music, dance etcetera to expand and enhance learning in the classroom.
Original Plays:
These plays are created through the collaboration of teacher and students and can encompass a variety of subject matter including but not limited: Bullying, dropout prevention, suicide, isims, and period pieces in relation to the experiences of your particular school and community.
Student Lead Programs:
This particular workshop allows teachers to “showcase” their students and provide opportunities for them to facilitate their own programs with little interference from the teacher. The education department of each state mandates teachers to showcase student work this program afford not only for the student work to be showcases but for the student to be showcased to parents and community.
